A series of oil paintings depicting the passage of time, inspired by worn out and organically evolved surfaces in the environment.

The ravages of time on various objects exposed to the environmental elements creates a rich palette of colors and textures. These remnants are a narrative of the ephemeral nature of life and transformation of objects, subjected to an inevitable evolution. My attempt is to look beyond this commonplace and uncontrolled occurrence and create a certain vibrancy, communication and movement in these paintings capturing the essence of the decay and degradation.
